Don't Neglect Under The Hood: Engine Bay Detailing

Cleaning your engine bay is important because it helps maintain the engine’s performance and longevity by removing dirt, grime, and debris that can cause overheating, damage, or corrosion. The Process

1️⃣ Prep

Before cleaning the engine bay, it's important to make sure vulnerable components are covered to keep the engine (and the detailer) safe. This includes disconnecting the battery and covering parts like the alternator in water-proof plastic wrap.

2️⃣ Brush and Vacuum

Using a gentle brush and high-power vacuum, we will remove loose dirt and other build-up from the engine bay to prepare us for the next step.

3️⃣ Rinse

Using low pressure, we will rinse the engine bay and underside of the hood to remove more dirt and prepare for the foam.

4️⃣ Foam Cannon + Contact Wash

Using pH-neutral foam, we will wash the entire engine bay and underside of the hood with deep-cleaning brushes and mitts. We follow this up with a thorough rinse and dry to make sure we've cleared all of the grime.

5️⃣ Protection

Using a light dressing, we will coat the plastics of your engine bay to restore a deep, black color and shine.

Usually, our engine bay detail takes 30 - 60 minutes to complete.

Can you clean up oil spills?

Since oil and grease fits into areas we can't reach, we can only clean some of the oil. If the leakage is severe, we will not service your vehicle.
